Each one of our craftsmen has over ten years of experience and have all gone through a thorough background check. Carol Morhart
Owner & General Manager
Carol has been working within the Handyman Connection system for 27 years, starting as a Customer Service Representative in Calgary in 1997. After taking a year away from the business in 2001, she was invited back to the Edmonton location then began working her way up to General Manager and took over Ownership in 2012. Carol is married to Jamie and together they have a 12 year old daughter, 10 year old son and a cat. Carol enjoys spending time with her family outside of work whether it be at kids' practices and games, camping, or just watching movies at home.
Gloria Wolter
Administrative Assistant
Gloria is a born and raised Edmontonian. After working in the food and beverage industry for just over 10 years she came to Handyman Connection with valuable administrative experience and has been working as part of the team since 2021. Gloria is a mother to two adults, a grandmother to four and a great-grandmother to a beautiful girl. When not hanging out with her best fur friend, Dexter, Gloria spends her free time making jewelry, silversmithing, energy healing, and working with crystals.
Brad Boots
Service Coordinator
Brad grew up in Squamish, B.C., working as a carpenter he built both custom homes and high-rise construction in the Vancouver area, he moved briefly to the Okanagan to escape the big city but shortly into his new life there he met his wife, Jenna, who lived in Edmonton. After almost 10 years of framing and renovations, Brad decided to work towards getting out of the field and into the business side of the trades, taking Accounting and Human Resources. After completing his schooling, he was introduced to Handyman Connection and has been a part of the team since early 2023. Brad likes to watch sports and work on his own woodworking projects in his garage, while always making time to spend with friends, and family or meeting new people in the community.
Allan
Craftsman
Allan has always found the trade interesting as he discovered his talent for building and creating spaces for homeowners. Allan is married with two active boys and a dog. He enjoys skiing, fishing, cooking and watching hockey in his spare time.
Barry
Craftsman
Barry is retired from the aviation industry and follows in the footsteps of his grandfather who was a carpenter in the 1920’s. Barry has 4 children, 2 boys, twin girls and a grandson. Barry has a shop that he enjoys spending time building and creating personal items, especially for the newest addition to his family.
Csaba
Craftsman
Csaba has been involved in the trades for the last 10 years since he bought his first home in England which required many renovations. Csaba is married, and together they have an 8-year-old daughter. He really enjoys being active and his choice of sports would be tennis and soccer.
Darren
Plumber
Darren is a semi-retired Licensed Plumber coming from a family run plumbing company and has been with Handyman Connection since 2016. Darren enjoys his time away from work visiting his sister who lives in Australia.
Darryl
Craftsman
Darryl has been in the trades for many years, he enjoys the variety of work presented to him along with the process and problem solving to assist owners with the repairs and maintenance required in their homes. He has an adult son who has studied in law and is currently working as a police officer. Darryl enjoys listening to Blues music, during the summer months he enjoys golfing, gardening and yard work.
Dave
Craftsman
Dave has been working in the trades for over 30 years, he got his start working in his family’s construction business from a young age. Dave has 3 children; he enjoys coaching hockey and does his best to stay active and get in his 10000 steps each day.
John
Craftsman
John followed in his father’s footsteps in becoming a carpenter. He has been a Red Seal Journeyman Carpenter since 1982. John has been married for 41 years.
Martin
Craftsman
Martin has had a creative nature since childhood and finds it very fulfilling to do great work, becoming a Journeyman Carpenter in 1994. Martin is married and has four grown children. Martin keeps busy with a hobby farm on his acreage and has built houses in Mexico as part of mission trips.
Matthew
Electrician
Matthew is a Journeyman Electrician with over 20 years of experience working on many of Edmonton’s residential and commercial projects, including Edmonton International Airport and Rogers Place. Matthew enjoys playing sports with his wife and coaching his son’s soccer team.
Mike
Craftsman
Mike started his apprenticeship in 1998 and completed his Red Seal Journeyman ticket in 2005, he is also a Certified Property Inspector. He chose carpentry because he enjoyed woodworking in High School an showed a natural aptitude towards building and construction. Mike has a fiancé and a French bulldog cross. Mike used to play bass guitar in a wedding band, he also enjoys golfing and watching hockey.
Roy
Electrician
Roy is a Master Electrician and has been involved in the Electrical trade since 1982 when he joined the Apprenticeship Program. Roy is married with two children and one grandchild. He enjoys sledding and skiing in our colder months and golfing during the warmer months.
Dexter
Dexter is a 6 year old Pom Chi Pug who comes to the office every day with his human Gloria. He greets craftspeople, customers, and delivery persons curiously at the door and can often be found at any staff member's desk during the lunch hour.
