The Latest Trends in Wallpaper

As much as the idea of wallpapering may be intimidating or overwhelming, there are some creative, fun looks to really revamp the look and feel of a room. Texturized/Natural Wallpaper

One of the more popular and incredibly attractive wallpaper designs is paper with texture made of natural substances. This can include wallpaper such as a textured brick, wood, or stone. A lovely dark wood wallpaper looks great in a modern or farmhouse style room. You can also consider adding a brick wallpaper to your kitchen. These styles look the best when complimented with natural textures on the paper, as it can create a nice look without spending as much as installing the actual materials.

Featured Wall

This isn’t as much of a new trend as it is a classic idea. To spice up any room, or create an entirely new feel without putting in too much work, try incorporating a feature wall with accent wallpaper. Use it only on a portion of the wall to give the illusion of a painting or featured area with frames. This style of wallpaper should stand out from the other colors used in the room in order to properly accent the room. Geometric/Geological Patterns

Geological patterns are a little newer to this trend category, but it’s become very popular. This look features mineral and precious stone designs creating a beautiful, elegant look. Matte and Metallics

The matte and/or metallic look and style of wallpaper is an up and coming trend that is gaining lots of momentum. These sleek styles don’t overpower the room, as they are subtle, but glamorous.  They reflect light and are most of the time a little more durable than your standard wallpaper, making these stunning looks last long.

Soft Pastels

A nice subtle pastel wallpaper has become a really trendy way to make a statement in your rooms especially when paired with brighter accent colors throughout the room. A softer shade on the walls of any accent color in the room, will tie it all together nicely while creating a warm welcoming feel.
