In her spare time, she likes to train Maru, make candles and create art! Maddison is currently in College for illustration to learn how to refine her skills.

Monica Villarreal

Customer Service Representative

Monica is our remote Customer Service Representative. Originally from Monterrey, Mexico she's a young entrepreneur who loves traveling, art, fashion, and cooking. Monica started working at an early age and about 4 years ago had her first sales and customer service job. She found that she loved connecting with people and meeting people from all around the world. Due to her free spirit, she decided to start working remotely and travel while developing her own home-accessories brand. In her free time, Monica likes to journal, do yoga, and read.

Alisha Fussell

Craftsman

Alisha Fussell lived in San Jose area her whole life. She attended Oak Grove High School and DeAnza College. Her parents live in the area as well. Alisha likes living in the city but being a short drive away from the country, mountains, and the beach. Alisha got into trades by doing a lot of DIY projects and made it her career when she started working for a handyman company run by her friend. She started working on flooring and painting projects and diversified into other trades. The most Alisha likes about her work is the finished product and the look on the customers face when they love it. In her work, Alisha is proud how well she can install flooring and make hard cuts underneath door jambs and quickly cutting a perfect line for paining in pretty much any texture. Outside work, Alisha likes motorcycle riding, dancing, water sports, and playing with her three kitties. Also Alisha enjoys a wide variety of music and used to give piano lessons.

Anthony Macias

Craftsman

Anthony Macias was born in Palo Alto and moved with his family to Sacramento when he was 5 years old. He moved back to the Bay Area to be with his wife and newborn son. Also, he has 2 Chihuahuas in his family. Anthony got into the trades by helping his father who is still working as a handyman in Sacramento. Anthony has learned trades from his father and two uncles: one is an electrician, and one is a general contractor. Anthony started installing electrical and water fixtures, has done a variety of other handyman jobs, and has become proficient at them. He likes doing various jobs where he is able to use his creativity to fix problems. Although Anthony is young, he packs tons of experience and knowledge and always strives to learn more. Outside work, Anthony likes to play keyboard and do woodworking.

Andrew Ariyama

Craftsman

Andrew (Drew) Ariyama has lived in the Bay Area his whole life. His family, including kids and dog, are also here. Drew enjoys the Bay Area which allows him to enjoy his hobbies: fishing and biking. Drew has liked building things with wood, which led him to woodworking and eventually other trades. Drew has become a Jack of All Trades. He most likes seeing the end product and takes pride in the quality of his work.

John Gonzalez

Sales Advisor

John Gonzalez moved to the South Bay Area from Concord in 2000. He likes what the area brings: good weather, the different type of people, and a chance to make a good living. He lives with his family and 2 cats. John got into trades by an unusual for Handyman Connection route. He became a journeyman Glazier and made his mark installing glass on high-rises. He then learned many other construction trades. His proudest achievement is putting 25 to 35 nail-on fin windows in 8 hours within an 1/8" tolerance. John takes pride in performing to the best of my abilities while creating good quality work. He wants people around him to know that he works hard, cares, and like helping others. When not working, John still continues building things around the house and for friends. He also is very proud of the relationship he has built with his wife and kids.

Patrick Riesch

Craftsman

Patrick Riesch is a native Californian who lived all over the state from Anaheim to Palo Alto. He spent a few years in Kentucky and Oregon but has come back to the area. Patrick got into the trades in 1976, right out of high school. He received his California General Building Contractor license in 1987 and run a successful construction company before moving out of state where he continued with the trades. Patrick has done everything from foundation to finish in both residential and commercial buildings. Patrick is very proud of doing his jobs with utmost honesty and quality. He always looks forward to making his customers happy and making a house into a home. Outside work, Patrick enjoys spending time with his large family. He has 7 children, 4 boys and 3 girls. He likes outdoors activities like hiking and camping.

Ricardo Gutierrez

Craftsman

Ricardo (Ricky) Gutierrez lived in the Bay Area since 2003. He got into trades in 2011 and has done almost everything in construction. Ricardo even did natural stone fabrication countertops, fireplaces, and decorative items, including a granite map of Portugal. Ricardo got into trades with his father-in-law's natural-stone fabrication company, starting as a helper and moving up to an installer. The construction quickly became his passion. Wanting to learn more, Ricardo diversified into other trades. Ricardo has joined Handyman Connection to hone his skills and help people. When not working, Ricardo is working on his car and improving his home. He also likes going to dinners and talking with his teenage daughter. No matter what Ricardo does, his trademark is staying positive and find solutions to challenges.

Roy Foster

Craftsman

Roy Foster started in construction working on the marine docks. He learned concrete and how to operate heavy machinery. Roy has diversified into carpentry, plumbing, and electrical and worked on both commercial and residential building. Roy has done everything from small repairs to building houses. The handyman was professional and able to respond to a change in instructions with no problem. I also like the tracker which lets the customer know when the handyman has nearly arrived at my home.
