5 Simple Steps to Organizing Your Closet

1. Step One – It’s important to set up a staging area before you begin organizing your closet. The staging area will be the location where you will place and organize all of the things you take out from your closet. 2. Step Two – If you are organizing a clothes closet, consider using a collapsible clothing rack to hang the clothes. This will allow you to easily see and organize your stuff. Don’t rush sorting out your things so you can make an accurate inventory of items.

3. Step Three – Your inventory needs to have specific categories to make the process of organization easier. Group together similar items in boxes, piles or plastic containers. Keep track of all your things by using labels.

4. Step Four – If there are too many items in a specific category, then you can make smaller categories of items. For instance, instead of just grouping clothes together, you can organize them according to season.
