When it comes to your home improvement projects our craftsmen have the expertise to get the job done and done right. Each one of our craftsmen has over ten years of experience and have all gone through a thorough background check. Handyman Connection of Edmonton's team of professionals is passionate about taking your home improvement dreams and making them a reality.
Darren is a licensed Plumber and Gas fitter with over 35 years of experience. Darren specializes in residential plumbing systems, including fixture repair and replacement, bathroom rough ins, plumbing renovations and boiler repairs.
Eric is an Electrician with over 15 years experience. He enjoys working with residential homeowners on a variety of projects from start to finish.
Outside of work Eric enjoys windsurfing and dirt biking around the Edmonton area
Jim has been in construction for 42 years. He is a licensed Master Electrician and has a Residential Construction Site Manager certification and a Certified Customer Service Professional designation. Jim is skilled at with all aspects of renovations including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, cabinets, flooring, drywall completing renovations both small and large.
Growing up around the farm Chad was exposed to an ongoing list of projects to help out, from fixing fences to building corrals, sheds, shelters and other random construction projects. Repairs around the home were performed by family and he was always keen to help out.
Fast forward to his adult years and Chad carried on the skills learned earlier in life. After renovating his first home, including framing, drywalling, flooring, tiling, electrical, counters, painting, landscaping and building a fence and a shed. He saw the rewards of his work and purchased another two consecutive homes and renovated them. Soon family and friends were requesting him to perform various odd jobs around their homes and all were completed to their satisfaction.
In 2009 Chad decided to expand his work and started to advertise his handyman skill and quickly landed a contract with a property management company servicing 17 different properties for them on regular basis, completing everything from minor fixes to full suite renovations.
In late 2010 Chad was presented with a career opportunity that changed his focus from full time handyman work taking it back to causal work performing odd jobs as his schedule afforded.
Keith has recently joined Handyman Connection in 2017 since becoming semi-retired but has been in the trades since 1976. Keith began with building homes in Edmonton and then moved to building and installing kitchen cabinets. He also has had a 35 year career in telecommunications but still continued with cabinetry part time. Keith also enjoys fishing and golf when time permits. Keith is married to Karen and has two kids and two dogs.
Carlton has over 20 years of experience in carpentry, including finishing carpentry, and cabinet making. Along with this skill he also has a passion for home renovation, both interior and exterior. Over the years Carlton has garnered a wide range of skills to become skilled at completing a variety of home renovations, repairs, and maintenance.
During his spare time he enjoys playing soccer and vegetable gardening.
Mike has been working as an Electrician with over 15 years of experience, he has done lots of commercial work and residential. Mike is originally from Nova Scotia but has been living in Alberta for 15 years. He is happily married and has a son whom he loves to spend time with camping, fishing and anything outdoors.
Dale has been working in new construction, maintenance, commercial and residential repaints for both interior and exterior projects since 1989. He is skilled in all spray finishes and coatings, along with staining and shading fine woods and railings, custom mantles and wood furniture, including cabinets, doors and trim. Dale is very meticulous and clean and pays special attention to detail and quality of products used in all applications.
Wayne has always liked the magic of how electricity works. From an early age of poking things into power outlets to mature as a seasoned craftsman in all things with electrons, safety and reliability is his number one motivation. His mission is to help people enjoy a better lifestyle through the safe use of electricity.
Wayne spends his spare time exploring life’s interesting nuances. He says he is an insatiable learner and is continually trying to better understand the world around him.
Wayne has lived in or around Edmonton his whole life. He and his wife have a cat and a motor home as companions.
Brian has been in the trades for 40 years starting at a very early age, completely renovating houses. When people ask him what he does for a living, his response is “I fix broken buildings”. He is a visionary with many years of experience, sees how projects look long before the work starts. Brian has a diploma in Structural Drafting Technology, Power Engineering, Sheet-metal and a project manager for 20+ years.
Chris moved around a lot as a kid, into new homes with his family and in each home there was always work to be done including fencing, decks and basement projects. Chris was lucky to be able to help his father with those projects from an early age, and has been completing these types of jobs every since. Fast forward 40 years and Chris has always felt a natural draw to renovations as they just come easy to him.
In his spare time Chris trains for, and runs in several running races throughout the year.
Mike is a Red Seal Journeyman Carpenter with 25 years of construction experience, from framing to finishing and everything in between. He is skilled in a wide range of improvements, repairs and installations. Mike is detailed orientated with an aptitude for problem solving. He loves spending time with his wife, 4 kids and 3 dog. Together they enjoy doing sports, camping and BBQ’s.
Dietmar is a home builder from Germany with 3 decades of house construction experience. In Germany he built numerous homes out of autoclaved aerated concrete and is excellent in many disciplines such as project planning, training and management. He is terrific in many trades, including drywall, tiles, flooring, carpentry and finishing.
Claude has spent 24 years serving in the Canadian Armed Forces of which 20 years were spent as a Construction Engineering Technician with the focus of his employment primarily providing maintenance for the residential married quarters on various Military Bases. This involved anything related to the exterior and interior of these homes as well as various other related trade functions such as some plumbing, electrical, concrete, cabinetry, ceramic tiles, suspended ceilings, and various other finishes.
Claude now wants to spend time helping others with their own projects by providing advice and hands-on expertise while utilizing current and new building materials and techniques.
