Handyman Connection takes top honors in annual ranking of handyman companies, awards local franchisees

Cincinnati, OH (February, 2014): Fresh off the heels of their top rankings in Qualified Remodeler Magazine (August 2013) as #1 handyman company and 20th overall remodeling company in the U.S., Handyman Connection recently announced their own awards for the top Handyman Connection Franchises.

The 2014 Handyman Connection conference was held this January in Deerfield Beach, FL. Handyman Connection, North America’s original handyman services and home improvement specialists, hosts the annual conference to recognize local franchise owners and craftsmen for outstanding service to their customers. Highlights of the awards that were handed out at the annual conference included the Craftsman of the Year and Franchisee of the Year.

The Craftsman of the Year award went to Steve Barr of Missouri for his stellar service to the customers of Handyman Connection of St. Louis.

Perhaps the most anticipated honor of the conference, the Franchisee of the Year award was bestowed on Steve McCoy of Colorado Springs. The Franchisee of the Year is determined using a combination of criteria, including Combined Quality Score (Customer Experience Rating and Net Promoter® Score), Sales, Market Penetration, and Participation in the System. This is the second time that McCoy has won this award in the last four years.

Scott Webb, owner of the Charleston Handyman Connection in South Carolina was the winner of the Customer Service Award with a Net Promoter® Score (NPS) of 88.75%. NPS is the worldwide standard for organizations to measure, understand, and improve their customer experience, and it is the key to driving Handyman Connection’s loyalty and growth.

The annual Sales Growth Award went to Fadi Alwazani, owner of the Toronto West franchise in Ontario, Canada. The Market Share Award went to Steve McCoy of Colorado Springs. Steve has continued to serve the Colorado Springs community for over nine extraordinary years.

Matt Boyce received the Service Advisor of the Year award for his service to the customers of the Winchester, Virginia Handyman Connection owned by Bryan and Tiffany Peters.
